Rooms

There are four courtyard rooms and three garden rooms. All the courtyard rooms have a king bed, three of which can accommodate a rollaway bed should you be traveling with children. Two of the garden rooms have a king bed while the third garden room has 2 queen beds which can accommodate a rollaway bed. Two of the garden rooms are located on an upper teraza, and ideal if reserved for 2 couples or a family, because they host a king room and a double queen room, and because of their added privacy.

Every room has been luxuriously appointed with handmade furniture and decor by local craftsmen, and uses only the highest quality, imported bathroom and bedding linens.

The bathroom amenities are made by a locally-owned and operated company called Yucatan Herbal which uses naturally occurring local products such as honey and aloe to produce a totally natural, non-toxic line of bathroom products.

Each of the rooms has its own sitting area on a teraza in which to enjoy the ample gardens and warm weather.

The Amenities

The hotel walls are adorned with original art from local artists while the rooms host the owners own personal collection. In the true spirit of a boutique hotel, all of the items in the hotel are for sale.

In the reception area, there is a small library in which to exchange books with fellow travelers and a selection of books available to you where you can read about the Yucatan, its history, people, culture and environment.

There is a dining room in which you can choose to have any of your meals or hold a meeting should you be traveling here on business. The courtyard and pool garden areas can either be used for lounging around, having your breakfast, lunch or afternoon cocktail & snack or for catching up on your sun tanning.

In the rear garden of the hotel, there is a small area in which you can host a barbecue for you and your guests.

Located conveniently between the courtyard and pool garden areas, there is a charming hotel bar which is fully stocked for all your beverage needs and has Direct TV satellite from the USA. It is open to hotel guests, guests of hotel guests, and is frequented by a select local clientele by appointment only.

All the grounds of The Villa have wireless internet service.

The hotel can be rented in its entirety for your event.

24 Hour Concierge
Despite only having 7 rooms, our dedication to your needs means we offer you a 24 hour, 7 days a week, concierge service. Whether you need flight confirmations, tour reservations, medical assistance, shopping recommendations, special products deliverd, cash exchanged or just someone to chat with, we strive to meet your needs as best we can.

Transportation
We will arrange airport pickup for you and your guests from either the Merida Private Airport, Merida International Airport or Cancun International Airport. Depending on the number in your party, we will arrange for a medium to large size air-conditioned sedan, minivan or full size van with a driver in the language of your choice. Charges apply. If you are arriving with your own vehicle or rental vehicle we will valet park your vehicle in secured private parking once you arrive.

Food & Beverage Services
At The Villa we have chosen to celebrate a fusion of Hispanic culinary culture by offering tapas-style home-cooked recipes of Spanish, Mexican and Yucatecan origin.

A courtesy continental breakfast of seasonal fresh fruit, freshly-made fruit juice, freshly-baked bread, our own fruit jams, natural yogurt, granola, organic Chiapanecan coffee, milk and a variety of teas (packaged cereals for children), and al la carte cooked Mexican breakfasts are served daily.

A home cooked tapas-style menu of Yucatecan and Mexican recipes is available throughout the day and early evening. Ask our cook about the antojitos of the day.

For a more contemporary gourmet cuisine, we are happy to offer you a Private Executive Chef with whom you can arrange your own culinary delights. This service requires 24 hour notice.

You are free to choose the garden area, dining room, bar or the privacy of your room as your eating locale.

Cigars and cigarettes are available for purchase.

We strive to accommodate your culinary needs as best we can, which is why we ask you your requests or restrictions at the time of reservation.

Our staff will be pleased to assist you with recommendations and reservations for the wide variety of wonderful local restaurants, featuring both regional and international cuisines.

We are certified by the Mexican federal health board, called Distintivo "H", that assures we abide by international food and beverage hygiene standards.

Event Services
We are pleased to offer you event services whether it be a small private business dinner for 25, a wrap party barbecue for your film crew of 75, or a fully-catered formal wedding dinner for up to 150 guests.

The whole villa with its 7 rooms makes an ideal private getaway for your event and your VIP guests, a place where you can do what and when you please. If you are here on convention and would like to be away from the rest of the crowd, we are happy to arrange daily transport to and from the convention center (approximately 15 to 20 minutes). Charges apply.

We are happy to arrange other local accommodation should your other guests require it. But all may gather on our premises the rest of the time.
